Our journey began in the depths of the ocean with our co-founder, Kevin Cook, a PADI Course Director and self-proclaimed fish nerd. With an insatiable passion for diving and marine life, Kevin’s zest for sharing the wonders of the underwater world knew no bounds.

The concept of FUN Fish Facts emerged from a game that Kevin cherished and played with every group he led on diving expeditions. Aptly named “Fun Fish Fact Exchange,” it’s a tradition where each diver shares a fun fish fact with the group before plunging into the aquatic abyss. Imagine a group of 10 divers, each equipped with a quirky fact about our finned friends - that’s a treasure chest of new knowledge with every dive! However, divers must come prepared with a few extra facts up their sleeves, as there’s always the chance that someone else might share your fact first.

Inspired by the joy and curiosity this game brought to fellow divers, Kevin decided it was time to bring this submerged wealth of knowledge to the surface for everyone to enjoy. Thus, FUNFishFacts.com was born!
